Mistletoe Ranch Water

Ranch waters have long been our go to happy hour drink. Simple. Tart. Refreshing. Not sweet. This Christmas version adds a splash of pure cranberry juice to create a beautiful deep red color and punch of cranberry to the mix. Garnish with a thin, round lime slice, fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary to bring together all the holiday cheer. All amounts below are adjustable to taste. Make it your own by adding less lime, more tequila, or more Topo Chico. You can’t really mess it up.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz blanco tequila

  • 1 oz lime juice (about 1 lime)

  • 1 oz cranberry juice

  • Ice cubes

  • Topo Chico (or sparkling water)

Instructions

01. In a 10-ounce glass, add tequila, lime juice, and cranberry juice.

02. Fill the glass with ice cubes.

03. Top off with Topo Chico

04. Stir gently and enjoy!

 

Notes:

01. Freshly squeezed lime juice enhances the drink's crispness, so try to avoid bottled lime juice.

02. Opt for 100% cranberry juice for a more authentic tartness.

03. Topo Chico Sparkling Mineral Water is always preferred for the perfect ranch water.

04. Our go to tequilas are Don Julio Blanco, Casamigos Blanco, Fortaleza Blanco, or La Gritona Blanco. (bottle pictured) But a resposado tequila can work as well.
